A Summer of Surrealism at Paradiso Art Hotel, Ibiza
This summer, I had the pleasure of presenting my latest solo exhibition at Paradiso Art Hotel in Ibiza as part of the hotel's celebrated 24h Arty People exhibition programme. Running from 16 July until 26 August, the exhibition transforms the hotel's iconic lobby into a world where reality and imagination quietly collide.
For me, the project felt like a natural collaboration.
Paradiso isn't just another hotel. It's a place where bold architecture, pastel colours, Art Deco influences and playful design already blur the line between fantasy and reality. Walking through the hotel almost feels like stepping onto the set of a film, which made it the perfect canvas for my work.
A Collection Created Especially for Ibiza
I wanted to create an entirely new body of work inspired by some of Concept Hotel Group's most iconic hotels. Over several days in Ibiza I photographed locations including Paradiso, Grand Paradiso and Cubanito, Back in my London studio, those photographs became the starting point for a new collection where unexpected guests quietly appear throughout the hotels.
The scenes are impossible, yet I always aim to make them feel as though they could have happened if you had arrived five minutes earlier.

Creating Believable Surrealism
People often ask whether these moments are real.
Every artwork begins with photographs that I've taken myself. The hotels, the classic cars, the architecture, the landscapes and the animals come from my own photographic archive, collected over many years of travelling and shooting around the world.
The creative process isn't about creating fantasy for the sake of it. It's about carefully blending reality with imagination until the impossible feels strangely believable.
That's where the magic happens.
Why Ibiza?
Ibiza had been on my photography bucket list for years. There's the island people know for its nightlife, but there's also another Ibiza filled with beautiful architecture, hidden beaches, remarkable hotels and a slower Mediterranean rhythm.
Concept Hotel Group captures that side of the island perfectly. Each hotel has its own distinctive identity, making them feel less like places to stay and more like cinematic destinations. It almost felt as though the locations had been waiting for my animals to arrive. Paradiso Art Hotel, nestled in the bay of San Antonio, has long been a celebration of art, making it the perfect home for my latest Ibiza collection.
The result is a collection where Palm Springs glamour meets the vibrant spirit of Ibiza, brought together through my signature surreal style and a cast of unexpected guests.

An Unforgettable Opening Night
The opening night was one of the highlights of the project. Seeing the collection finally displayed in the place that had inspired it, and watching people discover each artwork and spot the unexpected details, made all the months of planning and creating worthwhile.
It was also a pleasure to meet Diego Calvo, the CEO and Co-Founder of Concept Hotel Group. Having the opportunity to meet the person behind Concept Hotel Group made the evening even more memorable. Diego's passion for art, design, music and storytelling is reflected in every one of the hotels, and it's easy to see why Concept Hotel Group has become known for creating destinations that feel as much like cultural experiences as places to stay.
Knowing that the collection had found a home within that creative vision made the collaboration feel especially meaningful, and I couldn't have imagined a more fitting place to share this new body of work.
